    Ella website headshot (small) Ella is a senior communications professional with more than 17 years experience in journalism, public relations, brand development, marketing and media training.

    Since launching Big Splash Communications in 2004, Ella has provided highly successful communications solutions to a wide range of major corporations including AMP, Stockland, Queensland Newspapers, Tourism Queensland, the Public Relations Institute of Australia and the Crime and Misconduct Commission.

    She has also worked extensively with small and medium sized businesses to deliver targeted and cost effective publicity outcomes.

    Ella has an extensive network of contacts at the most senior levels of both print and electronic media in Queensland.

    As a Media Skills trainer, Ella brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her media training sessions having worked in both the media and corporate arenas.

    Prior to establishing Big Splash, Ella was the Queensland State Manager of Public Affairs at AMP with responsibility for all media, marketing, sponsorship and promotional activity in Queensland.

    Ella’s career in journalism included eight years at The Courier-Mail, reporting on politics, general news, courts, property, and lifestyle issues. She also won a Queensland Media Award for excellence in government reporting.
